Workshops

Jester Entertainment organises exciting five day courses during school breaks in Big Band, Rock and Performing Arts. Our tutors coach and perform alongside the students and the courses culminate in a performance on the Friday evening. Details of the workshops are given below and through the links on the right of the page.

Performing Arts Workshop

Young actors, dancers and singers are invited to join the group, which is open to any child of any age who enjoys performing. No previous experience is necessary. Previous shows include "The Wizard of Oz" and "Oliver". The children get a chance to try stage fighting and circus skills.

Big Band Workshop

Young musicians are invited to join the class, which is open to children of any age who are at least grade 1 standard. Children get a chance to try different styles of music including African drumming and Jazz.

Rock Workshop

Young guitarists, drummers, keyboard players and singers are invited to join the band, which is open to children of any age who are at least Grade 1 standard. Children get a chance to try DJing, design t-shirts and perform in a battle of the bands competition.
